About the Confectionery Diva
Well, hello there! Nice to meet you! Who is the artist behind Confectionery Diva, you ask? My name is Dawn Bennett and I am the Confectionery Diva! I started baking when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, happily standing on a chair at my grandmother's side. By design, I am a nurturer and baking is how I nurture the world. I enjoy baking both savory and sweet treats but derive the most pleasure expressing my artistic abilities through cake. My discerning palate is my guide, when creating unique flavor pairings and balancing sweet vs. salt or sour, smooth vs. crunch, etc....resulting in refined scrumptious harmony.

In 2010, I started creating custom cakes for family and friends. In 2017, I turned this "hobby" into a home-based business. I proudly use organic, non-GMO, natural, unadulterated ingredients, whenever possible. I am passionate about cake artistry and truly enjoy every aspect of it (except washing the dishes!!).
